5 Weapons You Should Definitely Try Out
In this list, we agreed on several types of weapons that benefited from Patch 1.04. We focused on weapons that stood out the most due to the changes. There should be something for various playstyles. Here is our selection:

Morgott’s Cursed Sword
What has been improved about the weapon? Morgott’s sword is a good weapon, but the weapon talent’s speed was too slow to compete with other weapons. In Patch 1.04, the speed of the weapon talent was significantly increased.
You can now quickly run towards your opponents, hit them with the Blood Curse Slash, and move back to safety without wasting much time in the animation. Moreover, the large curved sword is especially rewarding for catching fleeing opponents in PvP, as your talent activates faster now.
Where can I find the weapon? The weapon can be obtained from the memory of Morgott, the King of All. You must go to the two fingers in the Roundtable Hold with the memory. Once there, the Finger Reader will be waiting to transform your memories into equipment.
Royal Greatsword
What has been improved about the weapon? The royal greatsword belongs to the greatsword category. These received a buff in their attack speed and damage in Patch 1.04.
You can hit faster with the greatsword now and are not stuck in a long attack animation. Additionally, the weapon talent “Wolf Attack” has also been sped up. You will execute your forward somersault, followed by the ice storm left behind when drawing the sword, faster. This makes Blaidd’s sword more agile and better in combat.
Where can I find the weapon? You can only obtain the weapon if you follow Ranni’s quest. You must fight against the rampaging Blaidd at a point in your journey, who drops this sword as a reward.
Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear
What has been improved about the weapon? This sadistic torture instrument also received a buff in the animation of the “Blood Curse Ritual”. You can execute your stabs faster, better dealing with the enemies around you. Additionally, this spear benefits from a widespread bleeding effect, making you a walking killing machine.
Where can I get the weapon? To obtain the weapon, you must kill Mohgwyn, who resides in his blood-soaked palace. After you defeat him, you can go to the Finger Reader at the Roundtable with his memory. She will lend you this spear in exchange.
Greatsword of the Godslayer
What has been improved about the weapon? The Greatsword of the Godslayer can now not only attack faster and deal increased damage, but you can also cancel the animation of your weapon talent.
If you notice during your first fan slash of the black flames that an enemy or boss will hit you, you can dodge before your action. This stops your animation and allows for a more agile combat style.
Since the weapon already utilizes a wide attack surface, this sword becomes a very good option for combat.
Where can I find the weapon? You can find the sword in the Holy Tower of Caelid. There, you must fight against a boss. After defeating your opponent in the tower, you can proceed into a small room containing a chest. The sword is in this chest.
Dark Moon Greatsword
What has been improved about the weapon? The Dark Moon Greatsword can now excel with lower FP costs for the weapon talent. If you have enveloped your weapon in ice due to the talent, your attacks will freeze your opponents faster. On top of that, your weapon can now shoot icy projectiles at your enemies more quickly.
Where can I find the weapon? The blade can be found during Ranni’s quest. You need to complete the quest to the end, and you will receive the sword as a completion reward.
