Valheim – The first major update since release
Genre: Survival | Developer: Iron Gate Studios | Platform: PC | Release Date: February 2, 2021 | Model: Buy-to-Play
What kind of game is this? In Valheim, it’s a survival game that you can play alone or in co-op with up to 10 players. You are thrown into a huge, procedurally generated world where you fight for your survival.
The game world is based on Norse mythology, and your hero is a Viking. With him, you gather resources, build a base, and engage in battles against dangerous monsters and tough bosses.
These are the highlights of Valheim
Valheim has some special features for which it is loved by players:
- Procedurally generated, random worlds
- An innovative system where you need to explore new areas and find materials to learn new recipes
- Extensive building possibilities and crafting
- Taming wild creatures
- Boss fights that start and conclude the game’s chapters
- Co-op gameplay and purely optional PvP
- A graphics style that may not seem modern, yet attracts many players
However, be careful, as the physics in Valheim can be deadly. Who falls a tree can be crushed by it or cause a chain reaction that destroys the entire forest.
