Palworld
Release Date: January 19, 2024 | Genre: Open-World Survival / Monster Taming | Game Duration: As desired | Multiplayer: Coop and PvP
What kind of game is this? Palworld is a colorful open-world game that combines elements of monster taming, crafting, and survival. The game offers a large and colorful world where you can discover new Pals, gather resources, and build structures. You not only have to fight dangerous boss Pals but also prepare for survival elements in terms of hunger and temperature.
Palworld can be played alone or with friends in co-op. There are also PvP elements where you can use your Pals against other players. However, this can be activated or deactivated as desired.
Particularly interesting is the technological progress in the game, as the tech tree expands over time and provides you access to advanced weapons and machines – a mechanic that has been further enhanced through recent updates.
Why is it worth playing? Palworld has evolved significantly with the updates Sakurajima and Feybreak. The expansions offer numerous new contents, including a variety of creatures, some of which have special abilities – such as the ability to ride on them.
Additionally, two new areas have been added: Sakurajima, a picturesque landscape with blooming cherry trees and Asian-inspired designs, and Feybreak, a massive island with diverse Pals and regions, particularly of interest in the endgame.
The game has also significantly expanded its tech tree, leading to new weapons, machines, and building options. This makes the development of your own base even more interesting, as it can quickly transform from a simple shelter to a highly developed factory.
The mix of peaceful exploration, survival elements, and the hunt for new Pals makes Palworld a varied experience that is suitable for both new players and returnees. There should be some returnees since over 2 million players visited the Palworld servers simultaneously. Only one developer encountered them: When 2 million players want to play Palworld, only 1 developer works on the servers – this nearly ends in disaster
