Prison School
Alternative names: Kangoku Gakuen
Genres: Comedy, Ecchi
Episodes: 12

The Hachimitsu Private Academy was previously an all-girls school. But that changes this year, as for the first time, boys are admitted to the school – although only 5 in number.
However, the student council has a nasty plan and ensures that the boys are punished right in the first week. They are thrown into the school’s prison and must serve a month there to think about their offensive actions – and to experience all sorts of strange “adventures”.
What to expect from Prison School: I thought a lot about this paragraph. Probably the answer is “nothing”, but that wouldn’t be fair. Prison School impressively shows that some anime (and their source material) do not shy away from anything, and even the strangest fantasies can be molded into a coherent story.
Prison School is a perfect proof that a good animation style does not necessarily make a great anime. Because the sometimes quite risqué incidents, the strange portrayal of both female and male characters, and the sheer density of different kinks that the anime deals with are unmatched.
Since the series is rated 7.56 / 10 on Myanimelist, it has apparently appealed to the fans.
OreImo
Alternative Names: Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai, My Little Sister Can’t Be This Cute
Genres: Comedy
Episodes: 12

Kirino is the perfect student. She gets good grades, looks pretty, and even works as a model on the side to supplement her allowance. However, this image falters when her brother Kyousuke finds an erotic game that belongs to his sister. Kirino sees her good reputation and the facade of her perfect life at risk and compels her brother to silence. In exchange, she introduces her brother to the nerdy world of anime and eroge games – leading to a lot of chaos.
What to expect from OreImo: Basically, OreImo is much “tamer” in its images than many other series on this list and could therefore appeal to one or the other. However, the themes of the individual episodes and the interactions between the characters often hit such uncomfortable cringe material that you quietly plead for mercy.
Just imagine discussing porn and erotic games with a sibling of the opposite sex during your youth. For 12 episodes. Not so bad? Then now imagine having to live with that afterwards.
This uncomfortable feeling is the experience of this series.
Redo of Healer
Alternative names: Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi
Genres: Adventure, Drama, Fantasy, “Erotic” (with very thick quotation marks)
Episodes: 12
Stream available at: Currently no known German streaming provider. Maybe better that way.
When Keyaru was summoned to be a hero and gained the powers of a healer, he thought his future would be bright. But it turned out differently: For many years, he was abused and tortured by the hero group – they were thoroughly evil personalities who only outwardly maintained the appearance of true, shining heroes.
After a failed battle, Keyaru then unleashes his most powerful healing spell: He turns back time to just before he joined this hero group. And this time he would do things differently: He embarks on a merciless quest for revenge that will only end when all of his former comrades are physically and mentally broken.
What to expect from Redo of Healer: The first episode of Redo of Healer does not make it clear what kind of “ride” you are in for here. It starts as a typical, somewhat exaggerated brutal introduction of a fantasy anime – but at the latest the second episode leaves no questions as to what this is. Redo of Healer is brutal, disturbing, and morally more than just questionable. Keyaru’s quest for revenge is filled with physical, emotional, and sexual atrocities.
Interestingly, the series apparently appealed quite well to female fans – extraordinarily so (via twitter/X). But discussing the reasons would probably exceed the scope.
Redo of Healer was even so bad that the German simulcast of the series was canceled – no German streaming provider wanted to offer the series after the first episodes.
Are there any other anime that could quickly lead to a ban from the family?
