In Elden Ring there are hundreds of weapons with which you can give your opponents a beating. Here, we present 4 weapons that are so bizarre that getting kills with them becomes more than just a moment of success for you. They are also an embarrassing insult to your opponents.
Elden Ring currently has 309 weapons, all of which we have already sorted and rated in a tier list for you. Among these weapons are not only strong classics such as katanas or large clubs.
As in all FromSoftware games, there are also some quirky features hidden in Elden Ring that you can take advantage of. So if you want to take down your opponents in a particularly humiliating way, you should check out one of these 4 weapons.
In this video, you will learn how a community legend has repeatedly humiliated the toughest boss in Elden Ring:
Horn of the Messenger – Blow your enemies away
- Location: Farmable drop from the Messenger in Leyndell or Miquella’s Haligtree
- Ranking in our tier list: A-rank
The Horn of the Messenger is a weapon for which we have already created our so-called Bubbles build.
Because even though this weapon is actually listed as a hammer, it is much more like a rifle that fires lethal soap bubbles. This is guaranteed by the unique weapon ability Oracle Bubble.
Your character blows strongly into the weapon and, besides a weird sound, also fires a bubble that can deal extremely high holy damage.
There are hardly more embarrassing ways to die than by a barrage of bubbles. And that is precisely why this weapon is not only amazingly strong but also a lot of fun to use.
Varre’s Bouquet – A thorn in the eye
Location: Drop from the NPC Varre or reward at the end of his quest.
Ranking in our tier list: B-rank
Elden Ring was released shortly after Valentine’s Day, but with this weapon, you can make very special declarations of love at any time.
Because with this hammer, which looks like a bouquet of red roses, you deal heavy bleed damage. With the unique weapon talent, you also perform a small pirouette that transitions into several quick attacks. Not only does it hurt, but it also causes the opponent to bleed and heals you in the process.
It’s not just our hearts that bleed because Elden Ring isn’t getting more romantic than this. We give bonus points for style if you equip the weapon for the (in a way) sentimental end of Ranni’s quest.
Ghiza’s Wheel – The Pizza Cutter of Death
Location: Drop from an NPC invader on the upper floor of Volcano Manor.
Ranking in our tier list: C-rank
This absolutely ridiculous weapon in Elden Ring not only looks like a pizza cutter, it also works exactly like one.
Ghiza’s Wheel is a kind of reimagining of probably the weirdest weapon in Bloodborne and belongs to the Great Weapons category. You swing this oversized pizza cutter with normal attacks, but it becomes really fun with the weapon talent.
This activates the sawing function of the weapon, allowing you to spin the sharp wheel. This way, you build up bleed on the opponent that can grow nearly endlessly. Unfortunately, the weapon is still not overly strong. But there’s just no other weapon in the game that slices through enemies as if they were freshly baked pizza.
Ringed Finger – “Try Finger, But Hole”
Location: Chest in the Hero’s Grave of Gelmir, at the end of the lava on the left.
Ranking in our tier list: B-rank
Have you always wanted to swing a gigantic purple finger that is crushed by way too tight rings and is held by a severed bone? Then Elden Ring has just the right weapon for you: the Ringed Finger.
This weapon is also officially a hammer, although there is very little that resembles traditional tools. Instead, this finger looks like you hit the nail too many times when hammering it in.
With the weapon talent “Finger Snap”, you allow this disgusting weapon to swell further, concentrating your power. This culminates in a mighty snap with which you disrespectfully toss your opponents away as if they were a pesky insect on your picnic blanket.
It gets even weirder if you find another copy of this weapon in New Game+. Now you can flail around wildly with two oversized fingers and bludgeon your opponents to death. You can even pretend to be the deity Two Fingers!
This weapon may also just be in the game to give a popular joke in the Souls community a new dimension: “Try Finger, But Hole.”
What do you think of these weapons? Have you tried them out? If so, how strong do you really find them? Let us know in the comments. Also, let us know if you know of any other crazy weapons that you like to use in Elden Ring.
In a completely different bizarre way, those familiar with the game will recognize Elon Musk’s “Elden Ring” build. It actually seems very convoluted and wildly thrown together:
