Housing – Housing to Your Heart’s Content
There are only a few features in World of Warcraft that have been wished for as long as player housing – that is “Player Housing”. Ever since Vanilla, some fans have dreamed of a home of their own, and with the Midnight expansion, this dream is finally coming true.
The variety and freedom you have when setting up your own house is nearly unparalleled. Every object can be precisely adjusted and manipulated in size and position. Not only that, many items can even be colored in multiple channels, allowing you to develop your own style to create the truly perfect house for your characters.
It even surpasses the critically acclaimed housing of WildStar, as you can stack multiple rooms vertically, allowing you to build a “tower” if you wish.
We are quite sure that many players who currently reject the feature will eventually develop an interest in housing. Because once you’ve started setting up a house, it’s very hard to stop until everything is “just perfect” …
Those who can embrace it will likely spend dozens, if not hundreds, of hours fulfilling the dream of having an abandoned crypt, a Blood Elf estate, or a magic-tinged wizard’s tower.
Combine that with the social aspects of your neighborhoods, and you will spend many hours checking out the creations of other players – a greater kind of freedom has probably never existed in World of Warcraft.
