Inuyasha is one of the most well-known animes that aired during midday on RTL2. Unfortunately, viewers never got to see the grand finale back then, but now fans can catch up on a streaming service.

What happened with the finale? The anime was actually canceled after 104 episodes on RTL2. So, only a little more than half of all 193 episodes were shown. Possibly the broadcaster only secured the rights for the first episodes. Consequently, fans who only watched the anime on RTL2 never knew how the anime ended.
It wasn’t until 15 years after the premiere of Inuyasha that Kazé had the remaining episodes dubbed into German (as stated on MoviePilot). Additionally, the new episodes were then shown on the free-to-air channel ProSieben MAXX. Only then could fans watch the rest of the anime.
With the addition on Crunchyroll, fans are no longer bound to a specific time and can catch up on the entire series as well as the finale at any time.
What is Inuyasha about? The student Kagome Higurashi lives in modern Tokyo. One day, she is pulled into the sealed well at her home and lands in medieval Japan. Here she learns that she is the reincarnation of the powerful priestess Kikyo.
Shortly after her arrival, she is attacked and must free the half-demon Inuyasha to save herself. He had been sealed to a tree by Kikyo with an arrow 50 years prior.
Together they set off to collect the shards of the Shikon Jewel. With them, they can put an end to the demons that terrorize the people.
