Call of Duty: World War II has been on the market since 2017, yet the developers continue to surprise with updates. Now there are new weapons and also rifles from DLCs permanently in the game.
What is happening in the game right now? World War II received another update yesterday, on July 23. It featured 7 new weapons, but also 5 weapons that previously could only be obtained in DLCs.
These will now be unlocked and are permanently available for all players. The numerous fans of the shooter love the update and thank Sledgehammer Games for it.
World War II is receiving praise
Why are there DLC weapons? Sledgehammer Games explains the move by saying they want to thank the community for still supporting the developers.
They first considered extending the period for the DLC weapons, but have now decided to bring the weapons into the game permanently.
What kind of weapons are these? The following DLC weapons will be unlocked gradually:
- Erma EMP – 07/23
- Blyskawica – 07/30
- Fire Axe – 08/06
- Baseball Bat – 08/13
- Push Dagger – 08/20
In addition, the following 7 new weapons can already be found in World War II:
- M36 (Sniper)
- Wimmersperg Spz (AR)
- Austen (SMG)
- M267 (SMG)
- Chatelerault (LMG)
- GDB-79 (AR)
- Bechowiec (SMG)
How are the fans reacting? In the Subreddit for World War II, the update is met with cheers. Numerous threads praise Sledgehammer Games for this action.
