What is Apex Legends? The game is a spinoff of Titanfall and takes place in the same universe. It is played in a team of three in a battle royale format. In total, 20 teams of three face off against each other. The last team standing wins.
Apex is a mix of Overwatch and Warzone, the battle royale mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The game has multiple classic BR elements, but the characters also differ. Each player has a different hero with unique skills, such as a healing drone or faster running when under fire.
Apex Legends costs 0.25€ in the PS Store, but this is only because it’s rated 18. This is similar to Warframe.
Who is Apex Legends suitable for?
- Players who want to optimize their time, as rounds in Apex start very quickly.
- Fans of both Fortnite and Overwatch, as Apex offers both solid BR elements and hero gameplay.
- Players who enjoy lots of action and quick skirmishes, as Apex’s map is quite small, and many fights are pre-programmed.
