Obsidian Entertainment has made a name for itself in RPGs over the last 21 years, including classics like Fallout: New Vegas, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, or Pillars of Eternity. Recently, the studio released another RPG for the Pillars of Eternity universe, titled Avowed. And then there was also The Outer Worlds … which is soon to get a sequel.
Like part 1, The Outer Worlds 2 leads you into a fantastic sci-fi universe that you explore from a first-person perspective. Expect chatty companions, (thanks to different weapons and skills), varied shootouts, dialogues with decisions that affect the outcome of quests, and the quirky humor of the first part.
You will take on the role of an agent of the Earth Council to uncover the source of devastating rifts that threaten to annihilate humanity. Your investigations will lead you to the colony of Arcadia, which is embroiled in a faction war.
