CoD Warzone: Mid-Season 4 – What changes have already arrived
Prior to the Mid-Season start, players experienced changes in CoD Warzone. For example, on July 14, the Push Dagger was introduced: This is a small fist blade that can be unlocked in CoD Vanguard and CoD Warzone.
A fix for the map Fortune’s Keep was also implemented in July. In an update, Raven Software increased the number of Buy Stations in Fortune’s Keep from 10 to 13 (via Twitter). Fans had been requesting this for quite a while.
CoD Warzone: Mid-Season 4 – Information about the new content
These are the 12 pieces of content that CoD Warzone wants to lure you back into the game: Currently, the following 12 changes are planned:
- a new weapon
- three new camos
- a new vehicle
- a new item for movement
- a new map
- a new operator
- two new game modes
- a new event
- and a crossover
What new weapon will there be? An assault rifle named Vargo-S will be added to the weapon arsenal. It is said to feature high versatility and a high rate of fire.
Here you can read which weapons are the best in Season 4 meta.
What new camos are there? Players who have unlocked the Zombie camos from Vanguard can also apply them to their Vanguard weapons in CoD Warzone. These three weapon skins include:
- Golden Viper
- Plague Diamond
- Dark Aether
What does the new vehicle look like? The Armored SUV is a vehicle equipped with multiple plates and features a turret on the roof. Additionally, the vehicle can be boosted with nitro for a certain period.

What are the Portable Redeploy Balloons? The Portable Redeploy Balloons represent a new way of movement in CoD Warzone.
The balloon can be used to reposition on the map. Players can find it as a Field Upgrade in loot or as a contract reward.
What new map will there be? Desolation will be a new medium-sized map. The setting is a village that resembles a labyrinth. It is located on a hillside and features a burning plane near the cliffs.
What new operators will there be? Ikenna Olowe was a strategist from a young age. He grew up in Nigeria and proved himself as a chess genius. Olowe later served as a battlefield engineer in the war.
Ikenna Olowe can be unlocked in a bundle.
What are the Titanium Trials: Endurance? The Titanium Trials will be a revised version of the well-known Iron Trials. Here you’ll find rules and tips for the Iron Trials mode.
The Titanium Trials: Endurance functions like the Battle Royale system on Caldera and will take place under the motto “Terminator.” It will go live on August 11 and be available for two weeks.

What is behind “Rebirth Island: Battle or Become the Horde”? The developers have been mysterious about this content so far. At one point in the Mid-Season update, they only wrote “More in anticipation” and further: “There are strange rumors about a zombie flood and the ultimate test for operators that will go online…” (via callofduty.com).
With the roadmap, we now have certainty: It is actually a new version of a Zombie Royale.
In the game mode, there are 10 quads on an island. Players fight against other operators as well as against the undead. Those who are killed return as zombies.
This steadily increases the number of undead on the map. However, a zombie player can also return to life through four antivirals.

What is the new event? The event is called “Fortune’s Keep: Cursed Ground.” There are several “cursed chests” scattered throughout the island.
The chests contain power-ups and good items. There’s just one catch: The player must first deal with the zombie hordes that spawn near the chests.
What does the Terminator crossover look like? There will be a bundle with the theme “Terminator”. It consists of 10 items and includes the following content:
- Model T-800 (Operator)
- Neutral Net Processor (Ultra Assault Rifle Blueprint)
- Coltan Alloy (Legendary Weapon Blueprint)
- Motorhead (Legendary Weapon Blueprint)
- Always Scanning (Charm)
- I’ll Be Back (Animated Emblem)
- Infrared Optics (Reticle)
