Rainbow 6 Siege is turning 10 years old soon, and to celebrate this milestone appropriately, Ubisoft has planned a big update.
What has been announced? Recently, a forthcoming showcase event for Rainbow Six Siege was announced. Ubisoft wants to take its tactical shooter to a new level and is planning a big transformation to coincide with the release of the 10th year.
The showcase is scheduled for March 13 at 6:00 PM German time and will be streamed on the “Twitch” platform on the game’s channel (via twitch.com). But what exactly does Ubisoft have planned? We will show you what is known.

Showcase to unveil the big transformation
What content is known? Not much yet regarding the big transformation. According to their official post, Ubisoft wants to integrate new ways to experience the game. These are intended to deepen the tactical gameplay. Additionally, the team is working on enhancing the gameplay feel, which will also receive comprehensive improvements. With Year 10, Ubisoft aims to elevate its game to the pinnacle of tactical shooters.
Content-wise, we already know that a new operator is set to be released. Her name is Rauora, and she is expected to be unlocked through the Battle Pass in Year 10 Season 1.
As primary weapons, she can equip the sniper rifle 417 or the machine gun M249. For secondary weapons, there are the pistols Reaper MK2 or GSH-18. Her special ability is the M.O.N. plate launcher. With it, you can fire bulletproof plates to block and secure entrances.

When does Year 10 Season 1 start? Ubisoft dates the start of Year 10 Season 1 to March 2025. The exact date will likely be revealed during the showcase.
