Platforms: PC, PS4, and Xbox One | Release: Spring 2021 | Payment model: Free2Play | Website: Website of Magic: Legends

What is Magic: Legends? Magic: Legends was initially announced as a AAA MMORPG, but the developers at Cryptic Studios ultimately decided to make it an action RPG. Together with two friends, you explore large and small game areas, fight monsters with magic and cards, and upgrade your hero. You follow an epic story.
- You can experience the adventures either solo or with up to two friends
- In the game areas, you will encounter not only hordes of monsters but also boss opponents
- Before the missions, you select skills from a card deck, and you find and level up new cards with shards
- You always have 12 cards that rotate continuously, four of which are always active
- You summon powerful creatures to assist you in battles
- You can also engage in PvP duels
For whom is Magic: Legends suitable? The action RPG is intended for anyone who wants to experience hack ‘n’ slash in a slightly different way. Here you are a planeswalker, a mage who fights using magic. There is basically no real loot; instead, you look for upgrades for your spells. This makes Magic: Legends an action RPG that ventures something new.
Forecast – How good could Magic: Legends be? Magic: Legends had a tough time after its presentation because players were expecting an MMORPG based on the initial announcement. Therefore, the game faced significant criticism. Magic: Legends needs to prove that it is a good action RPG, but with its interesting ideas, the chances are not bad. The release is set to take place in spring 2021 after a delay.
