Metashi’s real name is Giacomo Emilio Escobar Gaviria, and he is one of the organizers, drivers, and guild leaders of Sauercrowd. One could say that he is currently fulfilling a lifelong dream. After all, he comes from the WoW community and is a huge fan of classic WoW.
Due to his direct, sometimes rough style, the streamer has always had clashes with his streams. Insults are part of his good manners. He recently apologized to his guild for an unconsidered remark.
However, it is also true that the streamer’s channel has been able to make significant gains in followers and subs in recent weeks. Metashi welcomed over 32,000 new followers in the past 30 days. The number of subs has reportedly grown from 34,315 in December 2025 to 36,735.
The streamer himself has repeatedly commented on the success during his live streams in recent days. Sometimes, just after stream starts, so many sub-bombs hit the channel that Metashi had to encourage his viewers to rather financially support other Sauercrowd members – he has already profited enough from the event and would appreciate new followers instead.
Metashi can also collect points because he repeatedly uses his reach to shine a spotlight on some of the other Sauercrowd participants. He has also returned to grinding immediately after his unfortunate hardcore death at level 58. And because he apologized in front of the gathered crowd for his statement about wanting to switch to TBC after the next death.
Some haters may not like it, but Metashi is definitely already one of the biggest winners of the Sauercrowd event.
