Cliff “CliffyB” Bleszinski’s failed online shooter Lawbreakers is immediately available as a free-to-play game on Steam. However, don’t get too excited, as the game will soon be completely shut down.

Lawbreakers as a competitor to Overwatch. With Lawbreakers, “CliffyB” went head-to-head with Blizzard’s Overwatch. This did not bode well for the game, as the developer studio had to announce in May that they would cease development on the shooter and close the entire studio.
The fast-paced anti-gravity battles, where various heroes faced off against each other, simply did not resonate with players. Lawbreakers lacked the charm and polish of Overwatch.
Try it out quickly now! Anyone who still wants to get a glimpse of Lawbreakers can do so for free starting now. The game is now available as a free-to-play title for download on Steam – this applies only to the PC version.
The end is near! However, the servers will be completely shut down on September 14th. The developers announced that all in-game purchases have been disabled, and there will be no refunds for previous purchases.
This makes the free-to-play version of Lawbreakers only worthwhile for those who want to see what the shooter has to offer.
