The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom offers numerous ways to approach opponents in combat. Thanks to the synthesis ability, it is possible to attach almost all items to weapons and shields. In a video, we now see that the Dazzlefruit is a particularly useful specimen.
What can the Dazzlefruit do? The name says it all: When the Dazzlefruit is thrown to the ground, it shoots light beams. The emitted beams blind nearby opponents, rendering them immobile for a short time.
This gives players valuable seconds to attack the opponent or escape. However, the item does not work on opponents that have no eyes – for example, the opponents disguised as trees in Hyrule.

What makes the fruit so special? The Dazzlefruit has transformed similar to the cooking pot from an inconspicuous object into a real insider tip. In the Reddit forum, user Dawn of the Meat Arrow shares a clip where he fights skeleton opponents in a cave.
At the end of his sword, he has attached a Dazzlefruit with the help of the synthesis ability. When he hits a skeleton bokoblin, it immediately crumbles to dust. The strike triggers a blinding light, causing all skeleton opponents in the vicinity to be instantly killed.

In the comments, other Zelda players write about the benefits they could draw from the fruit. User radforblue writes, for example, that the fruit is particularly effective against the Miasma Hands. These are strong opponents that appear in miasma puddles and can suddenly attack Link anywhere in Hyrule.
The Miasma Hands grab Link and hold him in a chokehold until he can free himself, permanently deducting hearts from him. But with the Dazzlefruit, the Miasma Hands can be blinded to gain valuable seconds for the battle.
Warning, Spoiler: In the following two paragraphs, there are spoilers about a boss fight from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
A special tip comes from user Sithina: The Dazzlefruit is particularly effective against the Gibdos and their queen in the desert region. The weak Gibdos are instantly killed with the Dazzlefruit. Their queen, whom we face in a boss fight, automatically becomes a skeleton and falls to the ground.
Actually, the Gibdo queen must touch a light beam during the boss fight to land on the ground. But thanks to the fruit, she can be brought down from the air at any time and then attacked, which makes the boss fight immensely easier.
Where can I collect the fruit? The Dazzlefruit grows on the Sky Islands. So either teleport to a shrine in the sky region or launch yourself into the sky from a lookout tower to collect the fruits.
