With the release of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, some new abilities also came. With these abilities, some players are building giant robots or flying laser turrets. One player has outdone every flying object using just a few materials and no rockets.
What happened? On Reddit, the user Paradox_Guardian posted his new machine. With this machine, Link can be catapulted to the highest point in the air. You can see the video here in his post:
He makes a wooden board rotate quickly using a motor. Once the rotation has reached a certain speed, he uses the ability Rewind Time
, stands on the board, and is then shot into the air within seconds.
This is much more efficient and faster than flying into the sky with rockets or self-built airships.
For more stability in vehicles, a simple cooking pot becomes the star in Tears of the Kingdom.
A machine that is easy to build
What do you need for this machine? The materials for this device are manageable.
- A motor
- A large wooden board
- Skateboards
You can steal the motor from the Geminiq shrine, but you always have to connect it with another item, otherwise, it will disappear.
Attach a wooden plank to the motor, and stick two skateboards to the foot of the motor. Place this construct on a hill. For unknown reasons, the motor begins to function, and the board starts spinning.
If you then use Rewind Time and stand on the board, you will be shot into the air at high speed.
A video tutorial has been published by the user on his Youtube account Paradox Gaming:
Users celebrate the new machine
How do users react? While many discuss the mechanics of the machine, others Reddit users celebrate the machine and the possibilities in the game.

The game should be called Zelda Tears of the Physics lol.

The game is incredibly fun. It has been out for 2 weeks, and we are seeing crazier things as time goes by. Goodbye 2023. My gaming time belongs to Tears.
