Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has been released, and one of the newest features is exploration in the air as well as underground. We will explain how to access the underground here.
Tears of the Kingdom advertises primarily with a new game world over Hyrule in its impressive trailers. Small islands and rocks open up a new way of exploring in the air. On the other hand, there is also a new area to explore beneath Hyrule, namely the underground.
How do you get into the underground? To access the underground, you simply need to find holes surrounded by red spots. In Tears of the Kingdom, there are several such holes, whether in various caves or plains.
You can see what that might look like on the official Nintendo of Europe Twitter account:
The earliest entry into the underground can be found at the Djiosinih Shrine in the plain of Hyrule. The way there is hard to miss due to the red glowing spots at the entrance. You can jump right in there.
However, you should definitely have unlocked the glider, because otherwise, you won’t survive the fall into the depths. Glow seeds and arrows are useful here too, as it is so dark that you can’t see the ground. The combination of both items allows you to anticipate when to activate the glider.
In addition to the successful release of Tears of The Kingdom Nintendo also celebrated a significant success against pirates.

If you have a little patience, relatively early in the game, you’ll encounter the main quest “The People Underground.” This quest will automatically lead you underground, and you’ll receive an introduction as well as 10 glow seeds and 5 wooden arrows that will make your jump easier.
In the underground itself, a gloomy environment awaits you along with a completely new biome with new resources and enemies to discover.
Just before the release of Tears of the Kingdom Nintendo conjured a smile on the faces of fans in a 2-minute video.
