The next raid boss in Pokémon GO is set. Zekrom will appear in June. We will tell you how strong the legendary Pokémon will be.
When does Zekrom appear? On June 16 at 10:00 PM German time, Zekrom will appear in the legendary raids. It will directly replace Reshiram.
How long Zekrom will stay in the raids is still unclear. Probably about as long as Reshiram, so about 3 weeks.
Zekrom will be the best Electric attacker
These are the stats: To have an overview of how strong Zekrom actually is, we will first show you the stats of the legendary Pokémon:
- Attack value: 275
- Defense value: 211
- HP value: 205
- Max CP: 4038
It has the exact same stats as Reshiram, which is now the best Fire attacker in Pokémon GO.
However, Zekrom is of Dragon and Electric type and will be particularly strong as an Electric type. It is the Electric Pokémon with the highest attack value, followed by Zapdos with a value of 253. The difference is significant.
Additionally, Zekrom can learn the best Electric moves in the game, making it by far the best Electric attacker in the game.
Are Zekrom raids worth it? Just like with Reshiram, you should do a lot of raids with Zekrom as well. The Pokémon will be incredibly useful and will shake up the meta quite a bit.
Shiny cannot be available at release yet. Nevertheless, you should secure it, as the Electric type is effective in numerous raids, such as against Kyogre or Suicune.
What comes after Zekrom? The following month, Kyurem will probably appear. The Pokémon has already been announced and is the last monster from the Tao Trio that is still not in the game.
