A YouTuber duo has built a unique gaming PC. Because it looks like a small city. The fascinating model took more than 600 hours of work.
Gaming PCs don’t always have to be gray, white, or black. This is shown regularly by gamers who invest a lot of time in their PC and the accompanying case. Often, this leads to extravagant cases, such as a shark-shaped gaming PC.
A unique case has now been developed by Martina and Hansi, the duo behind the YouTube channel Nerdforge. Because it looks like a dystopian city and is reminiscent of the well-known game Cyberpunk 2077.
YouTubers invest 600 hours of work into the gaming system
The YouTuber duo designed the entire model by hand. In their official video, we can watch Martina and Hansi as they prepare the individual components. They cut, painted, and then prepared each component for assembly themselves. And with each completed construction section, the official case gradually disappears, where later the hardware will be stored.
What is so special about it? The case relies on a lot of details. So there are
- tiny manhole covers on the street at the edge of the case
- street lighting and colorful neon signs
- realistically looking shops
- vending machines in the wall niches

Behind the impressive backdrop, there is actually a real case, in which the hardware such as processor, graphics card, and so on is located. The YouTubers chose the Corsair 7000D Airflow for their PC.
Manufacturers also rely on futuristic cases
What other cases are there? Manufacturers are also now selling cases that look futuristic. For example, at CES 2022, the manufacturer CyberPowerPC presented a special case. It is called the “Kinetic Series Chassis”: The front consists of 18 movable flaps that automatically open when the PC needs more air because it gets too hot. You don’t have to intervene yourself, and try tips if your PC gets too hot.
