The action was extremely successful and in the end, a record of 42.6 million views within 24 hours was achieved for a non-trailer or music video.

What was the action that broke the record? However, MrBeast’s record was not meant to last. Recently, a video from the news portal “The Guardian” achieved over 48 million views in just 16 hours.
This was a short clip in which during the Oscar ceremony 2022, the famous actor Will Smith took the stage and slapped the host Chris Rock. The reason for the slap was apparently that Rock had been jokingly mocking Will Smith’s wife’s hair loss due to illness.
What is the problem with this situation? The scene with the slap lasted only 3 seconds and caused a huge uproar on social media. The altercation made the otherwise quite formal and uneventful Oscar show truly interesting, and many wanted to see afterward what had actually happened.
