The YouTuber BorasLegend was just working on his team for FIFA 23 when he suddenly found the football legend Pelé in his club. But he didn’t understand why it was there.
In a clip on YouTube, the well-known football YouTuber “BorasLegend” is currently rebuilding his squad in Ultimate Team. He comments a bit on the side about what he is doing – and suddenly goes completely silent.
As he wants to fill a vacant spot, the football legend Pelé smiles at him as an option. The YouTuber’s expression changes to one of clear confusion. It’s evident: he did not expect this card at all.
Quietly, he integrates the FIFA 23 icon into his team, looking at stats and the player biography for a few seconds. The card turns out not only to be tradable, meaning sellable on the transfer market, but also a First-Owner card.
He definitely did not buy this Pelé on the transfer market, but received it from a pack. Only BorasLegend was obviously unaware of this.

This is how the YouTuber reacts: Even though BorasLegend’s team is full of strong and expensive cards, the legend catches him off guard. “What? What’s happening here? What’s happening here, Chat? I didn’t pull Pelé. This must be a glitch,” he initially comments: “Why do I have a tradable Pelé on my account?”
The answer comes quickly in a conversation with one of his mods. “I might have pulled him because I opened a few packs for you,” he tells BorasLegend.
These packs apparently also contained some World Cup picks from the current event that must have pushed Pelé back. So the mod didn’t realize he had just pulled the third most valuable card in the whole game for BorasLegend.
“Did you not notice that? When you pull Pelé, you definitely notice it. Did you pull Pelé for me?” the YouTuber asks incredulously: “When was that?”
The clip does not show an answer to the question. “This is not just any icon, this is Pelé,” BorasLegend is left astounded: “I didn’t pull him, I didn’t pull him,” he repeats multiple times.
In the end, BorasLegend puts the card on the transfer market – for 4,001,000 coins. An absolutely unreal amount in Ultimate Team, with which one could build an extremely strong team.
Why is this something special? To pull strong, rare cards in FIFA 23, you need a ton of luck. The chance of getting strong cards from packs is low – and this is especially likely to be the case for Pelé.
The Brazilian’s card has a rating of 95, fantastic stats, and 5-star skills. Pelé is still often mentioned as a candidate when it comes to the best football player of all time.
Currently, he is the third most expensive card in FIFA 23 – behind Ruud Gullit and leader Ronaldo. Pelé is the epitome of a football legend, and any “normal” FIFA player would probably be shocked to pull this player. For BorasLegend, it was also unbelievable – simply because he was completely unaware of it.
