The story of Destiny 2 will continue this week with a special cutscene. The MeinMMO community has already commented extensively and discussed what they think of the new development.
The leaks were right once again: Since the weekly reset on December 18, a new cutscene has been live in Destiny 2, which had been unofficially revealed some time ago.
After the Guardians were wondering when the scene would finally be officially visible in the game, you can admire it since this week when you visit the Queen’s Court. Some of you have already had your audience or read our article on the topic and have already been actively commenting.
We want to highlight your comments on the new turn. However, be aware that this is about the story. If you do not want to know what the cutscene is about, you should not continue reading!

The MeinMMO Guardians are already concocting their own theories
This is what the players say on MeinMMO: Many of you have already spoken out in our other posts about the revival of Uldren and this time you haven’t held back either.
While your previous comments in the other articles were more about avenging Cayde-6’s death, the Dark Prince seems to be getting off a bit better this time.
User vvV AmNesiA Vvv, however, still seems to hold a small grudge: “If it were up to me, I would destroy Uldren’s ghost and send him to the afterlife. I don’t like his face and in the end, he is responsible for Cayde’s death. Regardless of whether he can remember it or not. Plead ‘not guilty’ or what? No, he doesn’t belong to us Guardians. That’s my opinion.”

The Loki seems to want to give Uldren a chance: “What if every Guardian was a huge asshole before their Guardian life or a serial killer? What if our character was a huge asshole who is responsible for the deaths of many innocents?”
Yolo Trololo, on the other hand, finds the story appealing: “Cayde said that whoever kills him will become the new leader of the Hunters. And now a ghost awakens Uldren again (who will not remember his previous life afterward). After all, Uldren is a fighter. That’s what ghosts are looking for. I find this turn quite crazy and entertaining. Expectations and the good/evil scheme are not fulfilled at all.”
Cyber appoints himself Uldren’s bodyguard: “He is now a newly born Guardian. One of us. Anyone who does not understand this and wants to harm him would have to be personally taken out by my Golden Gun. Greetings to Callum. #teamuldren #uldrendidnothingwrong”
André Wettinger, however, does not trust Mara Sov: “But story-wise, this is nasty. The Queen cooks her own soup. Since her brother was resurrected by the Traveler, this is not exactly flattering for her. You could say he was assimilated.”

Z3ratul agrees: “I think that Uldren’s awakening as a Guardian is part of the Queen’s plan. I thought I had read that the Queen “manipulated” a ghost that has been looking for its Guardian for centuries and this ghost has now resurrected Uldren.”
Psycheater seems to want to wait and see what Bungie has in store: “I am really curious about what Bungie will make of this incredible story potential.”
You are welcome to continue commenting: What do you believe Bungie still has in store for the story? What would you wish for?
