The streamer QTCinderella announced a Beyblade tournament with a total of 32 participants. Some well-known personalities like Ludwig or shroud are participating. All will compete against each other in a wild battle with plastic spinning tops – it is said: “Let it Rip!”
What is Beyblade? In Beyblade, usually, 2 people face off against each other. They send one spinner into the arena, the “Beystadium,” using a launcher. In the arena, both blades spin around and ideally touch each other. Whoever is kicked out of the Beystadium first or stops spinning loses.
A Beyblade, however, consists of not just plastic, but three parts that are evaluated according to three criteria:
- Attack Ring: Attack – The upper part of a blade.
- Weight Disk: Defense – The metal ring in the middle of a Beyblade.
- Blade Base: Stamina – The bottom part, including the base.
Beyblade had both a manga and an anime series and 33 video games, of which 9 were released outside Japan. “Let it Rip!” was the iconic phrase that was dropped as soon as the spinners were sent into the arena.
