Call of Duty: Modern Warfare offers players hardcore action with even tougher characters. A leak now seemingly reveals the faces of 13 planned operators for the Multiplayer of Modern Warfare.
What are Operators in CoD? Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is not only known for its action-packed multiplayer mode. The game also aims to tell a story and be remembered for it.
The somewhat controversial campaign provides a good foundation for this. However, most play hours go into the multiplayer, and here, players are expected to identify with their characters as much as possible.
Operators are purely cosmetic content
Since the CoD multiplayer does not contain a character editor, identification with the in-game characters in Modern Warfare happens through the operators. These are predefined characters that you can control in the multiplayer, each with their own typically exaggerated backstory – but without any special abilities.
A leak now reveals 13 faces of operators that will likely find their way into the game in the future.

What does the leak show us? The leak shows 13 new operators and therefore playable characters for the multiplayer. In the photo, you can admire the battle-hardened faces of the planned soldier skins.
The names of the characters are also known, starting with the name of the lovely lady in the top left and continuing to the right. The row below starts again on the left.

How the operators will be implemented in the game remains completely unclear for now. The leak, however, also continues to indicate a full content pipeline for the rest of the year, similar to the big map leak some time ago.

How do I get the new operators? How the operators are obtained is also unknown. Current operators can already be unlocked in several ways.
- Co-op & campaign missions
- Challenges in multiplayer
The new operators might also come with similar requirements. The battle pass in December could also include some of the skins. The following sources could, for instance, unlock operators:
- New battle pass
- Additional missions
- Co-op or campaign
- Limited-time special challenges
- Special events
Skins may be exclusively available
Could the skins be “timed exclusives”? Since the operators only have cosmetic effects, the developers could offer the skins exclusively and only make them available for a limited time for players.
However, it remains to be seen how the new characters will ultimately find their way into the game – as long as the cosmetics with the unlocks work properly, unlike the officer rank challenges.
