Our new comment system is continuously being expanded and now has several features. In addition to an overview of all your comments, there are now also notifications and a community feed.
Wait, there was a new comment system? Exactly, we parted ways with Disqus a few weeks ago. In its place, a new comment system has been completely integrated into the MeinMMO site.
It brought various advantages, such as more control over the displayed advertising and different features. Above all, however, we can now continually expand this comment system and introduce new features that you can suggest. The first of these features are now online.
Yay, the overview is here!
Where can I see my comments? All new features that went online yesterday can be found in your profile. In the “Activity” sub-item, there is now an overview of all your comments with links directly to the corresponding discussions.
The overview of comments was a function that many of you had wished for. However, we have expanded it a bit further. For example, you have the option to favorite certain comments. This way you can access them faster by going to the “Favorites” sub-item.
This is how notifications work: You can now also see when someone has replied to your comments under articles. When you go to the sub-item for notifications in your profile, a list of users who have replied to your comments will be displayed.
A click on it then takes you directly to the corresponding discussion.
In your profile, you can also manage whether notifications are marked as read or unread. If you do not delete the notifications, you can also view your entire conversation timeline with other users here by simply scrolling back in the history.
Is there anything else new? There is now also a community feed that you can also find in your profile. On the community page, you can comfortably check what is currently happening on MeinMMO.
Where is there currently a lot of discussion? Has the author I like just written a new article? You can also directly respond to articles and comments in the feed without having to click through the site for a long time.
If you don’t want the posts in your community feed or if they might not be interesting for you, you can also simply remove them. This also helps you maintain a better overview of your timeline.
