In Helldivers 2, you can expect a new general order. This time, you can finally liberate several planets from the insects and protect them forever.
What is a general order in Helldivers 2? Unlike your personal orders, which are only active for you, general orders are shared among the community. They last for a longer time and are also relevant in the lore of Helldivers 2. The last general order, for example, involved the new mechs in the game.
The current general order requires you to activate certain control towers on 4 planets to finally solve the problem with the Terminids.

Activate Terminid Control System
For the new general order, you need to set up towers that will take care of the insects permanently with Termicide. The Terminid Control System must be activated on the barrier worlds. This affects the following planets:
- Erata Prime
- Fenrir III
- Meridia
- Turing
As a reward, all players will receive 50 tokens.
According to the text of the general order, the towers are supposed to ensure that all Terminids on the planet are eliminated and that the planet is ‘vaccinated’ against future infestations. The final extermination of the Terminids initially sounds like a good thing; however, the question arises as to whether the general order will also be relevant for the future of the planets, or whether the insects will continue to evolve despite the Termicides and become an even greater threat.
