This has led Niantic to decide that the Spotlight Hour will be repeated for all trainers. It will take place today, on February 26, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. You can expect the same content as during yesterday’s Spotlight Hour.
Catching Unova Monsters, Receiving Legendary Pokémon
Who might benefit from the event? The evolutions of the 3 Pokémon themselves are already worthwhile. Serpiroyal is a good monster in the Super League, Flambirex can impress as a Fire attacker, and Admurai can be used both as a Water attacker and in battle leagues.
However, the event is especially worthwhile for you if you have not yet been able to complete the limited-time research with the legendary Pokémon. Here, you need to catch 156 Pokémon from the Unova region, and you will receive one encounter each with Voltolos, Demeteros, and Boreos in return.
Since all 3 Pokémon from the Spotlight Hour come from the Unova region, you have the perfect opportunity to catch the necessary specimens in the repeat of the event and finish the research.
During the event, you will also receive double the amount of candies when you catch Pokémon. Since this bonus applies to each catch, you can use the Spotlight Hour to catch the legendary rewards and receive additional candies for it.
