So hurry to Xur: The vendor offers a weapon you shouldn’t miss that is currently among the best you can equip in PvP. However, it is not one of his Exotics, but a legendary gun that is currently being praised.
You have time until September 21st at 6:59 PM. Then, as every Tuesday, the new Weekly Reset occurs, and Xur disappears until the weekend, bringing fresh inventory.
Grab the most important ingredient from Xur and dominate in PvP
This is the must-buy: The vendor offers you the legendary fusion rifle “The Most Important Ingredient” at a good price. The weapon with Arc damage is one of the most precise representatives of its kind and was buffed significantly in Season 15.
Currently, this is one of the best PvP weapons in all of Destiny 2 – if you have the right roll. And that’s exactly what Xur offers you ready to take.
These are the perks of the fusion rifle:
- Red Dot Micro: The additional zoom gives the weapon more range than fusion rifles without a sight (Plug One.1)
- Particle Repeater: Increases stability or Projection Fuse for more range
- Under Pressure: More stability and precision with low ammo in the magazine – since you spawn with 2 shots, the perk is always active.
- Tap It: When you fire a shot, stability and precision are increased – this is also active with every burst.
- Masterwork: Stability

In the currently ongoing Trials (Trials of Osiris), the Most Important Ingredient directly takes 6th place among the deadliest weapons:
- A proud 1.4 million kills are attributed to the fusion rifle – that makes up 2% (via Trialsreport.com).
- Places 3 and 4 also clock in with “only” 1.4 million kills (The Darkness and The Tale of a Dead Man).
- This means that the weapon is just narrowly behind the top 3 (Vex Mythoclast, The Messenger and Pickaxe), as places 3 and 4 also only account for 1.4 million kills.
- Meta weapons like Lorentz Driver and Felwinter’s Lie are narrowly in 7th and 8th place.
The only fusion rifle that can compete with The Most Important Ingredient is the Exotic Vex Mythoclast. But that is currently a completely different matter.

These two Exotics are worth it:
- One-Eyed Mask for Titans with 67 stat points
- Geomag Stabilizers for Warlocks with 67 stat points
The two Exo armors have great stats, but unfortunately, the individual distribution is somewhat unfavorable. However, as a Masterwork, they have a proud +79 without using a single mod.
Which legendary weapons are useful? Did you buy The Most Important Ingredient, yes? Good, then you’ve done the most important part. But these weapons are also really well-rolled:
- Dark Promise (140 Hand Cannon) with High-Caliber Rounds, Snapshot Sights, and Hermetic is ideal for PvP and a 9/10 roll for the Crucible.
- Steel Sybil Z-14 (Sword) is not a Falling Guillotine, but the combo of Relentless Strikes + Whirlwind Blade is a God-Roll for swords when it comes to PvE. Because you quickly build up bonus damage and even get ammo back for it.
- Last Dollar (120 Hand Cannon) was, a few seasons ago, the sole reason why people played Gambit. With Lawless + Dragonfly, the roll is good for PvE, but lags far behind a proper Fate Bringer – if you don’t raid, you still score.
Don’t miss out on these legendary armors:
- Hunter: The gloves with +21 mobility should not be missing from any collection, as assassins benefit greatly from this value (62 total stats). The helm comes with +23 recovery, unusual for Hunters, but a good investment (63 total stats).
- Warlocks: The gloves with +19 resilience and +16 strength look interesting if you’re building melee builds (62 total stats).
- Titan: The chest piece comes with +23 recovery and +21 intellect, should be picked up (+60 total stats). The boots have a proud +26 intellect and +15 resilience and +16 recovery (63 total stats).
