Recently, MeinMMO launched a survey about Genshin Impact. We wanted to know from you: Which character is your favorite? Here we present the top 10 characters you chose.
How did the ranking come about? In Genshin Impact, characters play a significant role. You interact with them in the story and can additionally unlock them through the gacha system of the game. Last week, we started our survey to find out who your favorite among the currently 33 characters in Genshin Impact is.
This is how the voting worked: Each of you had four votes in total, as there are many characters who differ greatly in appearance and their attributes. However, you could only vote once and could not change your choice afterwards.
A total of 1571 readers participated in the survey (as of June 3, 1:15 PM). During this, 4,536 votes were cast for the 33 characters. The total percentage in the survey goes over 100%.

Rank 10 – Venti
What kind of character is this? Venti is a cheeky and carefree bard from Mondstadt who meets players very early in the story. He is a musical talent, has even won the title of the most popular bard three times, and has a fondness for wine.
Venti is a particularly powerful 5-star character and uses a bow as his weapon and the Anemo element.
In the Genshin Impact community, he has quickly become a very popular character, partly due to his personality, but also because of his extremely strong abilities. Many mourned when he was removed from the gacha pool.
How many votes did Venti receive? In the survey, he received 140 votes (3.09 %).
Rank 9 – Fischl
What kind of character is this? Fischl is an investigator of the Adventurers’ Guild of Mondstadt, accompanied by the night raven Oz. She claims to come from a world beyond Teyvat. She is a daring adventurer with seemingly absurd theories that coincidentally turn out to be true.
Fischl is obsessed with fantasy stories and plays the role of a benevolent princess. Those who do not know her are often so confused by her strange way of speaking that her raven Oz has to translate.
Fischl may be “only” a 4-star character, but she is still a strong support who enables good elemental combos with other characters. At the same time, she can also deal good damage herself and ranks among the best 4-star characters in our list.
In battle, she can summon her raven, which, like Fischl, deals Electro damage. The raven also remains summoned for several seconds, even if you switch to another character.
How many votes did Fischl receive? In the ranking, Fischl received 173 votes (3.81 %).
Rank 8 – Tartaglia
What kind of character is this? Tartaglia, also known as “Childe”, is the youngest member of the 11 of Fatui. He is always in search of danger and new challenges. He is considered unpredictable, and you never know whose side he is on.
Tartaglia is a very versatile character who can deal damage both at range with his bow as well as in close combat and with his elemental ability. Thanks to this, he can quickly activate his special ability.
How many votes did Tartaglia receive? Tartaglia received 180 votes (3.97 %).
Rank 7 – Hu Tao
What kind of character is this? Even at her announcement she delighted fans with her cute demeanor. Hu Tao is the 77th master of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor and loves to play pranks on others. She does her best to conduct the last rites of a person flawlessly and maintains the balance of yin and yang in the world.
Besides that, she is also a talented poet, and many of her “masterpieces” have been passed around by word of mouth in the population of Liyue. In the game itself, she is not just adorable, but also quite powerful. Hu Tao is a swift spear fighter whose gameplay is closely tied to her HP and her Pyro element.
Thanks to her passive ability, Hu Tao’s HP has a direct impact on her attack power. If her HP is at 50% or lower, her Pyro abilities gain a damage bonus of 25%.
How many votes did Hu Tao receive? Hu Tao secured 208 votes (4.59 %).
Rank 6 – Eula
What kind of character is this? Eula is from Mondstadt but is rarely found there. She is constantly on the move as the captain of a reconnaissance unit of the Knights of Favonius.
Her ancestors were part of the Lawrence clan, who exploited and oppressed the citizens of Mondstadt for a long time. Therefore, she has a bad reputation among the locals. However, Jean protects her and believes in Eula.
Eula is primarily a physical DPS character. Although her abilities deal Cryo damage, you should focus on physical damage with her. Eula is characterized mainly by her buffs, debuffs, and her ultimate ability.
She is one of the newest characters and has only recently become available in the game. We have looked into what Eula can do and for whom she is worth it.
How many votes did Eula receive? Eula received 232 votes (5.11 %).
