If you want to try the upcoming survival game Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore, you now have the opportunity to sign up for the upcoming Technical Beta on Steam. But be careful, the beta only lasts for 2 days. How you can participate is explained here.
How do you get into the beta? The beta specifically refers to the Technical Beta of Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore. This runs from May 31 to June 1, 2023. Accordingly, the developer studio Blankhans invites you to participate in the beta (via discord). There are 2 options:
- If you have been an alpha tester, the game will appear in your Steam library along with the technical beta.
- For all other interested parties: Also register for the beta of Coreborn via Steam (via Steam). With a bit of luck, you will then be selected as a participant.
What is to be tested in the Technical Beta? According to the developer studio Blankhans, the focus of this beta will be on the technical aspects of the game. It is intended to be a stress test for the game’s systems and servers. Just like Diablo 4 with its Server Slam, the developer wants to ensure that the performance at the release of Coreborn is also correct.
Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore is a pure PvE survival game
What kind of game is this? Coreborn wants to become the World of Warcraft in the survival genre. An ambitious goal, which sounds quite promising based on current information. Unlike the competition, Studio Blankhans aims to create a survival title that focuses solely on PvE.

Coreborn takes place in the fantasy world of Ultracore. You start in Tormentosia. However, this is threatened by Sorgoth, the Devourer of Worlds. Therefore, Ultracore represents a joint shield created by the kingdoms to protect parts of the world.
Your task is to reclaim the lands, build and develop cities, but also to defend against attacks. The person responsible for the game is Hauke Gerdes, known for his pen & paper stories among others from Rocket Beans.
