Call of Duty and Diablo 4 are completely different games. In one, you swing your ancient weapons with magic and talents and destroy hordes of monsters. In the other, you wield firearms and fight in various modes for victory. As Season 6 approaches, MW2 has devised a new crossover and appropriately brings in the two main characters from the Hack & Slay.
What is this crossover about? It could be both fitting and unfitting, because for Halloween, Activision is bringing you two new skin bundles to the shop, and these come from Diablo 4. Inarius, the fallen angel and Lilith, the queen of succubi pack their firearms to step into battle against Snoop Dogg or cats.
As absurd as it may sound, Season 6 and Halloween are soon upon us and are set to bring a spooky touch. This includes a new mode and more gruesome skins that you might recognize.
This is not the first crossover: In the past, CoD has dragged various faces from series, sports, and music onto the battlefield. This includes Snoop Dogg or the “heroes” from The Boys. So it’s not new that Activision has made such a move.
CoD MW2: Season 6 Battle Pass Full of Crossovers
What other crossovers does CoD have planned? For the upcoming Battle Pass for Season 6, well-known faces from the series “Spawn” will also be represented. This includes Violator, Spawn himself with various variations, Creepy Clown, the Disruptor, and the Soul Crusher.
What new mode is coming to CoD? Zombie Royale is set to launch in the Mid-Season alongside further time-limited changes in the DMZ mode. In Zombie Royale, you start as a living operator. However, if you get taken out, you turn into an undead and must then eliminate the remaining operators that are still alive.
The DMZ mode will have various hotspots where a witch is wreaking havoc with undead. Be careful not to get torn apart by a horde of wild zombies.
When does Season 6 and its Mid-Season start? The Halloween event, which will also feature Queen Lilith and Inarius, starts on October 17 simultaneously with the Mid-Season. Season 6, on the other hand, begins earlier, on September 27.
