In Battlefield REDSEC, you can uncover your enemies’ positions, but you may have to delay a safe kill.
How can you see enemies through walls? In Battlefield REDSEC, you are not immediately dead when an enemy takes you down. You may be on the ground, but you are not out of the game yet. Your enemies have the chance to eliminate you for good, but your teammates can revive you if you are not dead yet.
If you find yourself in a situation where you take down an enemy, do not kill them immediately – at least not with gunfire. You can perform a takedown on opponents who are on the ground. In doing so, you not only take their dog tag but also reveal the position of their teammates.
The revealed enemies will be visible to you for about 5-10 seconds on the minimap and even through walls in the game world. They will then be marked in enemy color (usually red).
To what extent do you have to take a risk? To execute a takedown on a downed enemy and reveal their teammates, you kill them with a melee attack. You must get close to the bleeding opponent and perform a brief animation where your character snatches the enemy’s dog tag.
This animation does not take long, but it makes you an easy target for a short time. And since you are standing directly over your opponent for the takedown, it’s quite possible that their teammates are not far away.
Often, the final shots seem like the less risky alternative to quickly send the enemy to the afterlife without giving the enemy squad a chance to eliminate you and save their teammate. However, uncovering positions can be worth the risk in a tight fight and may bring you victory.
