The name reservation for WoW Classic starts in a few hours. We will tell you what to keep in mind if you want to secure your names in World of Warcraft: Classic.

Original message: The release of World of Warcraft Classic is only two weeks away, but tonight should be an important event for eager players. In just a few hours, players can reserve up to three names and create their characters. First come, first served.
When does it start? The name reservation officially starts at 0:00 on August 13, 2019 – which is tonight. It is not entirely clear how long it will remain open, but probably until the official launch on August 27.
How does the reservation work? To reserve a name in WoW Classic, you need to log in to WoW Classic at midnight and select your desired server. We have a list of all servers here for you.
You can download WoW Classic in the Battle.net launcher. Select the menu item “World of Warcraft” and at the bottom under “Version,” choose “World of Warcraft Classic.” The game is only about 5 GB large, so it should be downloaded relatively quickly for most.
After that, you can normally create a character and already give it a name. You can do this up to 3 times, as you cannot reserve more per account.
Logging into the game with the characters is not possible yet. This will only be possible with the release.
Name reservation for subscribers: It is also important to mention that the name reservation is only available to players who have an active subscription for World of Warcraft. Otherwise, it is not possible to log into the servers and participate in the name reservation.
Can't think of a name? If you don't know what to name your characters in WoW Classic and want to be a bit more creative than Xshadowkillerx or Ìllîdân, you can find plenty of inspiration online.
