The beta of the PvP-heavy MMORPG Crowfall is currently ongoing. If you want to check it out, you can play for free right now – until the release.
Here’s how to participate: You create an account on the official website of the MMORPG Crowfall. Then you log in (via Crowfall’s beta website). Now use the following code:
CROWBETAHERO
This will grant you direct access to the current beta testing phase. You then download the client and you’re ready to play.
How long can you play? The beta will last until the release of the MMORPG, which is expected to happen sometime this year. Until then, you can participate in the testing phase with the code mentioned above and play as much as you like.
What happens to access at the game’s release? Once Crowfall officially launches, you will need to purchase access to the game if you want to play. It is a Buy2Play title, so there are no subscription fees.
Your beta access cannot be used for the release version.
When is the release of the MMORPG? The developers have only announced that the launch will take place in 2021. Currently, there is a rumor that the announcement for the release date could be made after the ECS Tournament, the Eternal Champions Series 2021 of Crowfall, on May 30.
An MMORPG for PvP fans and strategists
What is Crowfall about? The MMORPG is also referred to as a “Throne War Simulator”. You travel as a kind of divine being from your Eternal Kingdom into campaign worlds to fight for valuable resources. PvP is at the forefront.
You build fortresses that you also have to defend and engage in large conquest wars and siege battles for victory. At the end of the campaign, the world is destroyed by the so-called Hunger. You then return to your Eternal Kingdom, which you expand with the resources gathered until the next campaign starts.
This means that there is no persistent game world where your hero lives. The game is therefore aimed more at PvP fans and players who enjoy strategy games. You need to act tactically in the campaigns and are essentially always playing some kind of mission.
