The last chapter of ARK: Survival Evolved has now also been released on consoles. ARK: Extinction has finally been released for PS4 and Xbox One.
Just a few days after the release of the latest expansion “ARK: Extinction” on PC, players of ARK: Survival Evolved can now embark on a new adventure on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The expansion “Extinction”, which is very different from the ARK you know, is now available in the respective store.
What is ARK: Extinction about? In what is likely (for now) the last chapter of ARK, players return to Earth after spending a long time only on the island Arks. Here, they can discover what exactly has happened to the Earth and encounter a lot of machines.
New dinosaurs, of course, also have to be included, which can be stored in pocket-sized Cryopods and released quickly.
Fans of the story will likely be particularly excited, as they will find out where the dinosaurs come from that have been fought or tamed for ages in ARK.
Titans are the ultimate bosses: The biggest threat on Earth is probably not the spreading pest, but the Titans. You can encounter these gigantic machines and bring them down in challenging battles. If you want, you can even tame the massive robots. But don’t expect your neighbors to be happy when you bring the “cute little ones” for a visit.
How much does ARK: Extinction cost? In the respective store for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, ARK: Extinction costs €20.
By the way: ARK will soon conquer another console. ARK will also launch on Nintendo Switch starting November 30.
Do you think it’s good that ARK now offers more story and brings it to a worthy conclusion? Or should it have focused more on the sandbox game?
