Blizzard has announced the dates for the raid “Eternal Palace” in World of Warcraft. We will tell you when the new raid goes live.
Yesterday, World of Warcraft finally revealed the release date for Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara. This comes with a ton of new content, such as Nazjatar and Mechagon.
For many raiders, the fun really begins with the opening of the new raid “Eternal Palace”. There, you will face Azshara and her minions. The raid will open in multiple phases, as in the past. Here are all the dates.
All Dates for the Raid “Eternal Palace” in Patch 8.2
As usual, the raid opens first for the “real” raid groups, before the individual wings are unlocked over the weeks with the LFR. Here are the dates:
- July 10: Normal and heroic difficulty open
- July 17: Mythic difficulty and LFR Wing 1 opens
- July 31: LFR Wing 2 opens
- August 14: LFR Wing 3 opens
In plain language, this means that players without an active raid group will only be able to fully experience Azshara’s Eternal Palace and complete any quests starting on August 14.
What are the requirements? To dive into the new raid in the LFR, your character must have an item level of at least 380. This should be easy to achieve in Patch 8.2, as it is relatively simple to acquire solid gear in that range in Nazjatar and Mechagon.
Major “World First Race” expected: With a new raid tier that includes a total of 8 bosses, there will surely be another major “World First” race, where professional guilds like Method, Exorsus, and Limit will attempt to defeat the toughest bosses first. Whether Method can defend its title, which they won in “Battle of Dazar’alor”, remains to be seen.
