In addition to new content and bug fixes, the developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare also occasionally bring Double XP events. Currently, you will earn double experience points for your weapons and can unlock important attachments.
The multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is full of weapons and equipment. However, you will need to unlock much of this, and especially with the weapons, it can take forever for the important attachments for public matches to become available.
Double XP for Weapons in Modern Warfare
What event is going on? Since Friday, December 20th, there has been a temporary event in Modern Warfare. After completing a match, you will receive double experience points for your weapon level.
How long does the event last?
- The event started on December 20th at 7 PM
- During this time, you will receive double experience points for your weapons
- The event ends on December 23rd at 7 PM
Why should I level up the weapons? With higher weapon levels, you will obtain better options to modify your favorite weapons.
A good example is the assault rifles. Without attachments, the all-rounders feel really sluggish, and only with the first attachments for better control do the guns become truly effective at longer ranges.
