- Testers from Cyberport add that the device offers high performance within the PS5 (via cyberport.de).
- Testers from TechStage point out that the SSD offers enough performance for the PS5 (via techstage.de). However, those who frequently write a lot of data might be better off with the Samsung 980 Pro. This is unlikely to be a concern for PS5 players.
- On Amazon itself, the Crucial P5 Plus has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars based on more than 600 reviews. Some buyers also praise its compatibility with the PS5. However, one user has had issues with the SSD’s firmware.

Do you not have a PS5 and want to buy the SSD for your gaming PC? Even here, the purchase can be worthwhile, but it is advisable that your motherboard supports the PCIe-4.0 interface. Only then can you benefit from the full performance of the SSD.
