Currently, you can buy a PS5 directly from Sony’s store. However, you need to be lucky with the queue to get your turn. This way, you can buy a PS5 directly from Sony and avoid detours through other providers and sellers.
Furthermore, it is difficult to be able to buy a PS5. This is partly due to missing components in production. Many devices require specific components, which are currently very limited due to the Corona pandemic.
However, there is now a small glimmer of hope, as you can buy a PS5 directly from Sony. It works as always with a queue.
What is this offer? Sony is giving you the chance today, on December 3, 2021, to directly purchase a PS5 through Sony. “PlayStation Direct” is the direct sales channel for PlayStation hardware through Sony itself. So you buy directly and have no intermediary or seller.
When does the offer start? The offer started just a few minutes ago, and you can queue up. How long you will have to wait and whether you will be successful is something we cannot tell you. However, it can be assumed that many thousands of people will take the chance to directly get a PS5.
We at MeinMMO just tried it ourselves and currently have more than an hour of waiting time in the queue.

Update, December 3, 2021, at 11:58 AM: Meanwhile, both the PS5 and the Digital Edition are sold out again in the official Sony store. After the redirection, you will receive a message that the console is already sold out. The sales action lasted only about 20 minutes. Sony itself explains that it doesn’t benefit you if you constantly refresh the page with F5: “Reloading the page and opening multiple tabs with the queue page has no effect on your place in the queue. This page automatically refreshes itself.”
How do I know that I am at the front of the queue? According to Sony, you will hear a loud signal when it is your turn. You then have 10 minutes to proceed to the sales page. So if you are briefly away from your desk, you at least have a bit of time.
