What’s the problem with the watches? Normally, the watches in the Warzone only look good and otherwise sit obediently on the wrist of your virtual super soldier in the Warzone. But two particularly cool watches have a function that can work against you in the game. It’s about the following watches:

Both watches are available in Season 6 of Call of Duty: Warzone in the Battle Pass. They are unique in that they project the time above the wrist via hologram.
It looks cool and hip, but it’s not a good idea for the following reasons.

Here’s why you shouldn’t wear the two watches: Reddit user Khurlauss has impressively shown in a clip how impractical bright holo displays are in the Warzone. This is particularly problematic in the Gulag. Because in the dim hallways of the prison, the bright holograms are very visible, essentially marking you as a conspicuous target.
This is how the watch can be seen through walls: But it gets worse, as due to a strange glitch, the watch can even be seen through walls. While only a small dot is visible, if you know the dot is there – like Khurlauss does – you essentially gain an involuntary wallhack.
In the embedded video, Khurlauss can therefore target an opponent at the end since he knows exactly where his enemy is located. In a close-up, you can also better see the telltale dot from the watch. At least the issue of watches visible through walls is something that hopefully will be resolved by the developers soon. However, the brightly lit watches are intentionally designed that way and will likely not be changed. So only take them with you if you can handle giving your opponent an advantage out of vanity. Perhaps consider getting the Kill Tamagotchi instead.
