An elevated position in Call of Duty: Warzone gives you an advantage in most fights and even protects you from cheaters if you have good cover. However, nowadays, even the volcano on Caldera won’t save you – cheaters just climb up the mountain.
Cheaters can do a lot of nonsense with their cheat programs in Call of Duty: Warzone:
- For a while, they were using flying cars
- Then they used equipment that isn’t actually in the game
- Some even crash the whole lobby for a win
However, with the RICOCHET anti-cheat system, cheaters lead a dangerous life. Too many reports from other players and too good in-game stats quickly land them on a list of players who are close to a permanent ban.
However, not all cheaters fear a ban. Some continue to be very obvious with cheat software and the climber with account level 5 in the following reddit clip definitely belongs to the more obvious cheaters:
What happened? The thread creator on reddit, Rip-Falcon, was sitting with his sniper rifle HDR and a Grau 5.56 at the “Peak” location trying to clear the area of enemies.
Then a teammate pings an opponent who is slightly below him on the mountain and has spotted Falcon. During the confrontation, it quickly becomes clear: the opponent is a really good shooter … or a terrible cheater.
Unfortunately, it was the latter. But at least there was still something worth seeing.
Because the cheater climbs like a madman using his melee attack up the volcano to Falcon and knocks him out mercilessly.
What do players say about it? The mood in the thread is calm. Even though you can practically feel the frustration and disappointment about the cheaters in Warzone. A few comments:

- kunallanuk: ‘That must be the hack for increased melee distance, if I’m not mistaken. He’s using it quite creatively, to be honest. But still hacking nonsense.’

Even though the topic is annoying: Sometimes encounters with cheaters bring a little bit of fun, and ultimately, that’s what it’s all about – having fun.
