One of the biggest Twitch streamers right now is Félix “xQc” Lengyel (26). He is often on air and apparently does not find time to clean up. Fans and other content creators react in shock to the chaos in his streaming room, but xQc doesn’t seem to mind it much.
Who is xQc?
- The Franco-Canadian is among the greats on Twitch: he has over 11 million followers, with more than 64,000 people watching him on average (via sullygnome)
- xQc was previously an Overwatch pro, today, he primarily makes headlines with casino streams for his messy room, which previously was mainly known from Twitch colleague Asmongold, who recently cleaned up after a “midlife crisis”
- But don’t worry, xQc seems to be preparing to take over Asmongold’s legacy
No matter the cluttered room, xQc is incredibly successful. Apparently, YouTuber Ludwig also wants a piece of that and simply copies the “Juicer”.
Clips Show xQc’s Bad Habit
These are the clips in question: Strictly speaking, it’s not just one clip, but two. On August 17, xQc showed at the beginning of his stream how messy his desk looked: piles of fast food bags and drink cans. Apparently, the streamer just throws everything beside him on the floor when he’s done eating.
The clip spread on YouTube and in the LivestreamFails subreddit. Viewers were shocked and appalled. After all, xQc must have several million in his account, yet he survives on fast food and lives in garbage.
Additionally, an older clip resurfaced as well. In it, xQc’s then-girlfriend demands that he clean up. However, he claims that it’s not that bad and swings his camera around so everyone can participate in the chaos.
This clip also shows fast food packaging and drink cans, but on xQc’s desk, there’s also half-eaten food, and under the bed, there are supposed to be leftovers and snack packaging.

Mockery for Chaos Clips
This is how other content creators reacted: YouTuber Felix Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie, posted a video on August 21, in which he reacts to “Stream Fails” together with Ken “CinnamonToastKen” Morrison. The older of the two xQc clips made the cut.
PewDiePie was particularly annoyed by the uneaten food that was left out in the open. He could still accept the drinks, but that was just bad. Ken added that he had already reacted to videos of hoarders that looked suspiciously similar. PewDiePie laughed in agreement. (via YouTube)
You can watch PewDiePie’s reaction in the original English here:
Streamer Charlie “Cr1TiKaL” White, known for his Halo challenge, made a video about the grossest rooms on Twitch. He called the setup a junkyard but admitted that it was a rather isolated area in the big room. The rest looked pretty tidy. However, he couldn’t really understand xQc’s attitude.
He makes it sound like he wasn’t the one who did it. As if a burglar came in and left his McDonald’s bags on the floor. Unbelievable! Does he blackout when he eats McDonald’s and forgets that he threw it on the floor, so he’s always surprised when it’s still there in the morning? How does that happen? He looks just as surprised as I do.

However, for Cr1TiKaL, it’s not just trash; the chaos tells a story. He could track xQc’s calorie intake from the waste and make guesses about his digestion. He also feared the pests that could be attracted by the trash. It was like a portal to hell.
Here you can dive into Twitch’s garbage dumps with Cr1TiKaL. The video is in English.
This is what xQc himself says: He has now commented on both clips. While he took Cr1TiKaL’s criticism very calmly, he opted for an unusual justification with PewDiePie: it just smells good.
Guys, no joke. Guys, I don’t know if you know this, okay? Probably no one can understand this, but Dave’s [probably the fast-food chain Dave’s Hot Chicken] when it goes bad after a few days. Like five days or so, then it actually smells kind of good. The fries and pickles, when they go bad, smell pleasant.

Are there other opinions as well? Asmongold, the undisputed king of the chaotic room, also watched Cr1TiKaL’s video about the grossest rooms on Twitch. He couldn’t understand all the fuss at all. That was at most the trash of a week, and everything was in one place. It would only take 2 to 5 minutes to clean up. (via YouTube)
Can you relate to xQc’s scent preferences, or will you get nervous like Cr1TiKaL at the sight of the occasional fruit fly? Does it remind you of the “Battle Stations” from 4chan times? Feel free to leave a comment with your opinion.
With his gambling streams, xQc was very successful but also received a lot of criticism. In Germany, the casino trend also emerged, but the big names like Knossi and MontanaBlack have since distanced themselves from it. Why the situation in Germany is different, you can read here:
