In its first episode of Xbox 20/20, Microsoft presents the first gameplay on the Xbox Series X. Additionally, the feature “Smart Delivery” was introduced, which could be particularly interesting for owners of the Xbox One.
What was that stream about? Microsoft held a special “Inside Xbox” livestream on May 7, 2020, starting at 5:00 PM. During this event, the first games and the gameplay of the Xbox Series X were presented.
In most cases, trailers for a total of 13 new games were presented, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. All games are said to be optimized for the Xbox Series X, meaning they are expected to provide a resolution of 4K and 120 FPS, as well as ray tracing and fast loading times.
But Smart Delivery also played a role in the livestream.
What does Smart Delivery mean? Smart Delivery means that if you buy any version of the game, you always have access to the best version of that game, regardless of the hardware.
What else is special? The stream also highlighted the advantages of the new engine and hardware. These include:
- Seamless gameplay: You can quickly switch between areas without noticing anything ingame
- No FPS drops compared to the Xbox One X
- No ingame loading times

Dirt 5
After Dirt 4 from 2017, the successor Dirt 5 is now on the way. The release date is not yet known.
Scorn
Scorn is a horror-adventure set in a nightmare world. The visuals appear bloody and brutal and could appeal to many horror fans.
Chorus
A totally crazy space shooter that won’t be released until 2021. As Space Pilot Nara, you must fight against an evil cult.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2
This well-known vampire game has also received a new trailer. The subtitle reads “Come Dance.”
Call of the Sea
In the game Call of the Sea, you travel back to the 1930s. Here, you search for your missing husband on an island in the South Pacific.
The Ascent
In a cyberpunk world, a mega-corporation collapses. Now, you fight your way alone or in co-op in isometric perspective through hordes of enemies. We have already introduced the game in detail in a separate article.
The Medium
Another horror game. The player takes on the role of the titular medium.
Scarlet Nexus
The trailer resembles a modern anime and revolves around Yuito Sumaragi. With psychic powers, he must uncover a mystery in the city of New Himuka.
Second Extinction
The name of the game is practically a program: In this 3-player co-op shooter, it’s going for the dinosaurs once again.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon
In the new Yakuza game, we step into the role of Ichiban Kasuga, as we go against the underworld once again. The humor is also a nod to the predecessor.
