This is what Microsoft says: Microsoft has now stated that they want to address the issue. In an official statement (via Verge.com), they explain:
We at Microsoft put all our products through rigorous quality tests and are committed to providing our customers with an unparalleled gaming experience. We are aware that some players may experience disconnections with their new Xbox Wireless Controllers, and our teams are actively working on a solution that will be included in a future update.
When will the update come? Microsoft has not yet specified when exactly the adjustments will come.
