They state that the message on the bundle is unclear. They will now identify the accounts that purchased the bundle and retrospectively grant them access to “Save the World.” They will also ensure that everyone who purchases the bundle in the future gets access to “Fortnite: Save the World.”
Anyone who already owns “Save the World” when purchasing the Eon Bundle will receive an additional 2000 V-Bucks.
They plan to start these refunds next week when everyone is back in the office for the new year.
When will the compensations come?
Update 9.1.: It is now known (via reddit) when the compensations are expected to be issued. Epic will begin processing the refunds with Update 7.20.
