The free games for September from Xbox Games with Gold have been announced. This time, you will build the safest prison possible in the free games on Xbox One or shoot in the cooperative top-down shooter.
In September, you will have a selection of four free games to choose from, which you can play as a Games with Gold user.
For Xbox One, the following games are available in September 2018:
- Prison Architect: Available from September 1 to September 30
- Here you can prove that you have what it takes to be an architect. Build cell blocks, toilets, isolation cells, and electric chairs. But watch the needs of the inmates. If they get too restless, there will be riots! For fulfilled needs, you will have more budget available to invest in expanding the prison.
- Livelock: Available from September 16 to October 15
- This cooperative top-down shooter can be played alone or with two friends. You control mechanical bodies in chaotic battles. Each class has its own advantage. Your opponent is the artificial intelligence that has spent centuries preparing to destroy everything in its path.

- Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars: Available from September 1 to September 15
- Get ready for an adventure in a galaxy far, far away. A new story, large ground and space battles, and new boss enemies are key features in this part of the Lego series. There is also a split-screen mode that allows you to play with friends.
- Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World: Available from September 16 to September 30
- This collection consists of the three RPG classics Wonder Boy in Monster Land, Wonder Boy in Monster World, and, for the first time outside Japan, Monster World IV. Make sure peace returns to Monster World in this retro classic.
