8:00 PM: YES! YES! FINALLY! Dark setting, demons, and suddenly a necromancer. Diablo 4 reveals itself with a new cinematic! After the beta was already open for registration, more about the game is shown here.
The Necromancer is confirmed as a new class! This should please many players, as the necromancer is enormously popular. Head Rod Fergusson shares more about the game.
And finally, even gameplay comes, captured directly from the Xbox Series X. The worlds are as expected quite dark and bloody.
As in Diablo Immortal, you can customize and personalize your character; you don’t just have a fixed character. In the open world, you can even travel on a horse, something entirely new for Diablo.
Moreover, you’ll find “strongholds” that you should conquer and events that can suddenly appear. Diablo 4 seems to take on the same MMO approach as Immortal.
Full crossplay is also confirmed, as Diablo 4 emphasizes social interaction. The shared world is there for everyone.
PvP will be optional; those who enable it can even fight others in the open world. And we also know the release: 2023!
7:58 PM: A new console exclusive. Looks like a dark dystopia with a hint of magic and Terminator.
7:57 PM: Grounded leaves early access and joins the Game Pass starting September 2022.
7:54 PM: Indie time! Finally, something not so horribly serious. The new trailer here shows drawn scenes like from a medieval painting. You apparently play a father in the Middle Ages.
And of course, it wasn’t that easy back then. Plague and death, clergy and conflict. It looks like there’s a lot happening in the cute 2D illustrations.
Pentiment is coming in November 2022 on Xbox, Cloud, and PC.
7:53 PM: “Be the Last Warrior standing” – whatever that means. An Asian-influenced fighting game with strong For Honor vibes. Naraka: Bladepoint is coming to the Game Pass! And that already on June 23, 2022.
