In a new trailer, Wuthering Waves introduces its latest character, Yinlin. Fans are not only excited about her but also say that this is finally Kuro Games as they know it.
Which character is it about? Yinlin is the new 5-star character that you can obtain starting today, June 6, 2024, in Wuthering Waves through her banner in the game. We have already compiled more information about her banner and the materials needed to level her up.
Coinciding with her release, developer Kuro Games has now uploaded a trailer. It presents Yinlin as a character and convinces the players:
As the trailer shows, Yinlin does not shy away from hunting down the “bad guys.” After being dismissed from the public security office, she now seems to work more or less independently.
In the trailer, you can see her infiltrating enemy camps with various disguises to take them out with her puppet “Zapstring” and her electrical abilities. Essentially, she acts as an undercover heroine from Jinzhou. The developers have made an effort to overlay the designs of various NPCs onto her body, which is definitely a nice detail.
You also get a glimpse of her fighting style. Yinlin moves through groups of enemies with swift movements and skilled jumps and turns. With her puppet, she can attack multiple enemies from a certain distance, making her an interesting fighter for many situations.
What are the reactions? Even beforehand, many players were looking forward to the release of Yinlin, even though there hasn’t been much to see from her until now. With the new trailer, the excitement seems to be growing even more, judging by the comments (via YouTube).
