A new mount has appeared in the game files from WoW Patch 7.2. Will the stylish Zeppelin be available soon at the Darkmoon Faire?
If you take a close look at the collection of various mounts from World of Warcraft, you will see plenty of unusual things. While there are numerous “regular” mounts like horses, saber cats, or rams, there are also some more curious things like burning dragons, skeletal raptors, undead moose, or even hellbeasts and squid monsters. Data miners have now extracted the model for a new mount from the game files of Patch 7.2 “The Tomb of Sargeras,” which is sure to make the hearts of goblins and gnomes race.
The latest model is a genuine Zeppelin, coming in the typical purple color of these devices. A video from wowhead shows the mount in all its glory:
However, players on the test server have not yet been able to identify a source for the Zeppelin, which is why there are many speculations about where the Zeppelin will appear.
- Due to the color scheme and other toys and companions available at the Faire, many players speculate that the Zeppelin will be a new, expensive reward of the Darkmoon Faire.
- Other fans believe that it could be a new recipe for engineers, who will need to complete a questline that takes them into the Tomb of Sargeras.
- The last possibility is feared by many players: the mount is merely a model that will only arrive in Azeroth with a later patch.
However, there are no concrete hints yet. As Blizzard has more or less all the content from Patch 7.2 already on the PTR, it will likely remain a mystery until the actual release.
